Hagerty Drivers Foundation adds NASCAR’s “Fabulous Hudson Hornet” and Chrysler’s jet-powered Turbine car to National Historic Vehicle Register

TRAVERSE Metropolis, Mich. – The Hagerty Motorists Basis introduced the 31st and 32nd cars to be included into the Countrywide Historic Vehicle Register, the only federal acknowledged program to document the historical and cultural significance of the vehicle.

In purchase to protect America’s auto heritage for future generations, The Basis, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit group, manages the National Historic Auto Sign up with the U.S. Dept. of the Interior’s Historic American Engineering report (HAER). Picked vehicles are completely enshrined in the Library of Congress.
